ZF 15400 - First pictures

Got my black ZF today. Here's some photos comparing it to a blue JF V5.

Just my thoughts/opinions:
- JF has better looking bracelet/clasp and over all "haptics"
- ZF's dial looks awesome and over all quality looks great. Can't speak to gen likeness
- Not sure if this is how gen is...(I doubt it) but ZF clasp logo piece flops around. Very annoying

Thanks for photos & feedback. The clasp logo loose like that would definitely be annoying. Could potentially get caught on clothing or something. Does the watch feel secure when on the wrist despite this? Too bad we don’t speak Chinese because i remember in one of the videos they were focused on the clasp logo for a while, but I couldn’t make out what the hell they were saying lol.

According to a chinese review site, the gen clasp logo also fiddles.
It is made equivalent to gen spec.

I'd reach out and see what they can do. I just ordered the blue dial ZF 15400 myself so thanks for the photos + info about bracelet.

With the release of the grey dial I thought it would interesting to see what each colour dial would look like as if you were holding the watch in person. I used the original blue dial image as it's the best in-hand photo for the ZF 15400 I've seen so far.

Could be. But I think it's just the way that assembly is designed. As another member just said, sounds like the gen is designed to tilt also. I'm sure the gen assembly has a tighter fit and flops around less when the clasp is closed. To be clear, it will sit flat. It's only when you have the watch at the right angle when the logo tilts out

I think sunburst is something that is better seen in real life... even for the rep. A lot of times it's hard to see via online and many of my watches in real life look totally different than a photo.

You are correct sir.
The "sunburst" effect of dials is something which is best appreciated in real life. Yes pictures can be enhanced to show the effect but somehow it does not come across as what the dial will look like in person.

New to this forum but I’ve been doing my research on my APs for months now. I purchased a JF 15400 but due to this new updated versions I recently exchange it for the Z+F. First and foremost I’d like to thank you guys for all the help I’ve received from reading this column. Here are some photos I received today from my of TD, figured I’d share it.

The date actually looks really good IMO. If they can provide you more photos showing that the screw at the 11:00 position is not damaged, I’d accept.

I Think the clasp is a little to lose. maybe a qc problem. here is a gen clasp from a meiner here:
