Someone mentioned the strap for this is 22/20. It seems like a 24/22 to me as straps for my 44mm PAMs fit well.

After reading through this thread and seeing all the outstanding photos, I couldn't resist anymore and had to place an order. This will be my second rep and my first hasn't even been delivered yet lol.

So it is confirmed the lug width is 23mm? If so which leather strap, assuming one doesn't go custom, would look better...A 22mm or 24mm? What about replacement spring bars, is 23mm easy to find? Also does anyone know the thickness of the rep strap? Sorry for all the questions, just so eager to get this watch and try out different looks on it.

Spring bars seem to be very strong so no apparent need to replace them. As for strap width- it is 23 mm but any soft 24 can be gently squeezed to fit, I guess.

If people put some ideas of straps they would like to see, I might make a few in 23mm

The Nubuck strap that came with the SS Type 20 is of very good quality.
I don't see any need to change it out, I do got an olive green/brown Zulu strap for a change though, and it look really matching to it's pilot pedigree.

BTW I'm using a 24mm Zulu strap, it fit well to the 23mm watch lug width, it's better than a 23mm IMHO as it provides a better 'grip' to the spring bars when you're wearing and taking off the watch as it will not 'slip through' and drop.

*Nato strap have the 'extra' strap that goes behind the spring bars and that will not slip.

Received mine ! Amazing watch. Just concern about the quality of the crystal. Quite milky sometimes. I've got a pam 005 and you can see a real difference between the two.

It's the quality of the crystal, not because of the anti reflective coating issue.
Could be different batch of crystals has variations...

Can see it's a little 'milky' especially under ceiling lights; halogens, LEDs, bright PL/flourscent lights etc...
Any artificial light that shine on it in fact...

Not too obvious when outdoor and daylight.

So I've had my Zenith for almost two weeks now. The crystal isn't terrible but it's not the best either. Lume is good though not long lasting. Overall though a fantastic watch. Feels good in hand and on the wrist. Doesn't wear as big as I thought either. Even with the large onion crown it feels about the same as my 44mm Pam Rad homage.

Here it is on a 24mm two piece leather strap. Sorry not the best pics.
