Yachtmaster Grey Dial 2016 by Noob

Hey guys, would the noob 2824 version of this watch be the best one to pick from out of all the others? Looking to order the watch by this week!

Is there a consensus on the best way to fix the loose SELs? Looks like i'm gona have to fix mine on the watch i just got

I've got my 2824 version. It's beautiful. Noob did a great job. But I think I might be bored of it soon and order the JF blue dial and have it swapped. Haha.

Rejected 3 of these now. All have had terrible rehaut alignment which i can fix, however all have had terrible SEL's, huge gaps in them, could see the springbars. Is this a batch issue?

I've ordered a 2836 and received QC pics. Not happy with the SELs. Did I make a mistake ordering the 2836 version? Also yhe QC pics from the TD are poor quality. Should I ask for better and more pics?
Having read this blog twice it looks like the 3135 is the preferred option but difficult to get and the 2824 is more common and the "safer" option.

Hey guys, quick question:

There are 2 cases, the SA3135 & 2824 case and the 2836 case, right?

I'm a bit confused because I just wrote with Sead he thinks 2824 & 2836 would be same case...

Edit: ok after a lot more reading i confirmed what i thought.
If anybody else wants to know: sa3135 and 2824 seem to be the same, except for the cgs which seem to be narrower and more gen like on the sa3135.
While 2836 is more differnt to both (crown position f.e.) and is generally not recommended.

Just refused 4 of these from a TD (who was great). The new batch seems to have huge gaps in the endlinks and rehaut engraving/dial that's misaligned:

I get that it is a pretty minor thing in the big scheme of things. But my previous Noob rep of the submariner didn't have that problem and for $400 I was not expecting to have that issue.

Those SEL's are not too bad after all! I d take it. There are things that are way more obvious. Change the xtal to a gen with AR to really make a difference. The SEL is annoying I know but it is really hit or miss so unless you wanna buy 10 times the same watch until you find the perfect SEL or can change it I would take it and enjoy the watch as it is
