My noob is recessed and ROCK SOLID- does not budge.
Your sel is half perfect.the 12 o'clock side is flush

Here on the botton it's new wrapped YM, upper it's "old/unwrapped":
Finally try to put the "new/wrapped" bracelet on the unwrapped YM, but unfortunally the Sel still not recessed.
The i put the unwrapped bracelet on the new noob with recessed Sel, but with the unwrapped bracelet Sel are not recessed... wtf?? Ha ha ha lol
Hey lukko I was drunk when I was reading what you wrote and didn't quite get what you ment .and came back to see what you wrote again today.I noticed you wrote you tried the new wrapped bracelet on the old unwrapped case ,but the sel was still flush.then you said you then put the old unwrapped bracelet on the new wrapped case,but the sel was still flush lol.so that tells us it's not the case it's the bracelets are off.if the case holes were drilled in the perfect position on your new wrapped case,the unwrapped bracelet would sit recessed.I can't belive I missed that .but I was messed up.so there is hope guys if you get a case with flush sel you can order a replacement bracelet that may fit perfect.
But its strange that none of the bracelets fit recessed on the unwrapped case.
And only the new bracelet will sit recessed on the new case

However, even if you were drunk you had understood perfectly lol
I have two "grey" YM here with me:
One that i have bought in September/October, and one that has just come to me.
That "old / without protection film" has the sel flush
The "new one" that i have just received (that still wrapped) has the sel recessed.
I made two attempts:
1) new wrapped case with "old" unwrapped bracelt. Sel sit flush.
2) "old" unwrapped case with "new" wrapped bracelet ..... I know that what i am about to say is absurd, but the sel are also flush in this case.
Only "new" wrapped case and wrapped the bracelet sel are recessed.

Yes exactly,so if you bought a new ym bracelet it will probably sit nice and recessed on your old unwrapped case.the bracelet are all slightly machined different.

I could fix that vertical sel play using our plastic or paper sel mod.using bigger spring bars won't help.the noob ym comes with 1.8mm bars.bigger bars like the 2mm bars of the sub c won't fit through the bracelet spring bar holes.this is use is soo Comon on noob reps it's scary.I'm not sure why the sel moves up and down perhaps the way the bracelet spring bar holes are drilled too big.but use mine and zockker sel mod to tighten the sel.or get a new bracelet
Use this guide to our mod you can use paper as its faster to do takes 10 seconds .but obviously we can use plastic aswell

I had noticed a thing here as in my previous V6S compared to another V6S I had here at home. Inside the bracelet hole to pass the spring bars there is a burr processing that is not removed from machined.
In sub V6S with recessed sel that i has this burr was not present but in the sub with sel flush this burr was present.
In this case it was hard to remove the springbars from the bracelet, while the other sub with sel to a recess the sprigbars was off smooth like butter.
After I had removed the burr inside the hole in the springbars it flowed perfectly and the sel were low now.
I had I noticed this burr processing is also present in this YM with sel flush bracelet, and that its springbar is hard to remove, as the old sub with sel flush.
So I will try to remove the burr, because the bracelet of YM with recessed Sel (like my old V6S with recessed Sel) hasn't this burr.
