Baby steps I guess? If the next version comes with the polished mid links, then I'll definitely be getting one. I actually debated on getting the V1 and having a watch shop fully polish the bezel and mid links. I realized how difficult it would be to remove the mid links and polish them, so I'll just be waiting for a correct version.

Don't get me wrong bud, I'm not complaining

I'm just waiting for the version with the polished mid links. I don't really care about the "gap" or the lume mismatch that people talk about.

I was finally about the pull the trigger on the XF V2, and the long awaited ZF is released! Now I’m confused again !!! The fat pizza hand base on the ZF has thrown me off. Now wait again for a ZFv2 maybe and maybe even a XF v3? Or mayb just pull the trigger on the XF v2? Urghhhh..... don’t know where to go loll

You always have a choice.

I’m not being sarcastic or facetious when I say this but if you really like a model a lot, and cannot live with a flaw or another on the rep, you should consider getting the gen instead.

Reps will always be flawed. Some will have flaws you can accept or overlook but none of them will be perfect as you well know.
Reps are fun when one does not take them too seriously and wear them for what they are. The moment you start seeing the flaws and are unable to accept them, the fun is diminished and if so, won’t you think that gen is the way to go? Many guys here CAN well afford the gen but choose to wear reps for several understandable reasons.

Seriously, the XF V2 is great! Great looking and after being regulated, the movement runs at an amazing +6 s/d!

Yeah, I had the hour hand removed. It's just a much cleaner look now. AP thinks we don’t need a seconds hand, I say, we don’t need an hour hand either. If somebody asks me for the time, I‘ll just say it’s half past or quarter to. Only poor and working people need to know the exact hour, not an AP rep wearer.
