Thanks
BIONONE , I had not realized that
What would be the other tells that you're referring to?
I know that the inner bezel is not exactly as per gen ("depth" of numbers and markers), the movement is obviously another one, maybe the wet look of the dial?
Anything else?
Also, do you know if a 2836 can be changed to low beat like you would on a 2824? Is it possible to keep the decorations of the movement so that it remains decently similar to an a3120?
Thank you
the 15707 doesnt have a wet dial as the tapisserie or so called hobnail pattern is flat and matte.
the face of the watch is spot on, the tapisserie is top notch i think it is perfectly fine. without a side by side comparison nobody would notice that the gen is a little more glossy rather than matte.
what i was saying is - that a watch geek like us would notice the diving scale being a bit different compared to gen rather than mentioning the beat rate being off...
so i would say this watch is good to go unless you try to fool someone by the look of the movement...
for the movement swap - im not familiar with a conversion to low beat with a 2836...
but a problem would be to find matching hands for a 2824... Then you would need an H-Maker diver to use its hands... And then again you need a new date disk... costs over costs with a shit load of time which makes it not worth it IMO to mod it into a low beat diver.
all in all - all flaws other divers have are refined (DW, crystal, dial, hands, color, brushing, gen construction of the plots and lugs, on trusytime video even the cyclops look great)
i think this watch is the way to go for the price without any mods.
