Happy Wednesday gang. Today's WOTDC #18 is a long-time favorite that hasn't gotten its share of wrist love the past couple of years. It's a Blancpain LIP Fifty Fathoms. I love the FF's rich dive watch history. Purchased from Davidsen with an ETA engine, it's silky smooth and rock solid reliable. I haven't gotten around to modding the dial to give it a more vintage look, but interestingly I'm finding that in the 4 years I've had it, the lume has already begun its own natural patina process - becoming puffier and less uniform in color. I think I'll just wait and see where it ends up.

WEDNESDAY IS HUMPDAY, Gang! To that end, one of my "cheapie" Rolex Subs, 16610LN I put on by mistake this morning. That's what happens when you do things while you're half-wake. It's really not too shabby for its class; nice date window and Cyclops & possesses a clean rehaut. dave:
