All wristshots posted in the thread are closeups and don't represent the real look. No offense to the posters. Better wristshots should be those taken from at least 2 feet away to give you a feel of the watch in relation to the wrist. In addition, pannys have shorter lugs relative to their cases and they have a square base so it's not as bad as any other 47mm watches like Ernst Benz or some large Omegas. I have this watch which is 43mm and a davidsen's 44mm panny.
rlt4-1.jpg

The lugs are much longer on this watch and yes it wears bigger than the panny.
6.5" wrist aint that small for a fiddy esp. since you like the look of it so much. Go for it.

@bklm: I beg to differ. It will look strange on 6.5"wrist. Real big. Good on 7" and above.

I never knew how to look at a watch on my wrist from 2 feet away... Don't have an arm that long

Oh maybe a little closer than 2 feet, how about 1 1/2 feet. The thing is the camera lens will warp the picture (fish-eye effect) when too close, making the watch look a lot bigger than on the wrist.

6.5" is probably marginal, 47mm is not necessarily real big. It may look big if the guy is also very skinny and short. I have a 7" wrist but I'm 5'10", 175 lbs. I wish my wrist was bigger but 44mm is ok on me (I have a 47mm 232 from davidsen on order - hopefully it looks ok on me too).

I think you'll be OK. The Rad cases seem to wear a little smaller. I have a 45mm vintage Rad that wears/looks much smaller than my 44mm Luminor case.

They look totally good on you. Had you taken the shots closeup, they would look like 2 big mother f**kers.

He is wearing a PAM with 44mm in size. These model are alright with 6.5" wrist. Even 45mm Radiomir is still OK. However, that's not the case of 47mm as I have illustrated earlier.

45 mm is the limit.... Damn you... I am not short. 175 cm, 62 kg.

You're not short. You're skinny. You're ~137 lbs and you're ~5'9". 47mm may look big on you even your wrist is > 6.5".

Sell a few of your gen collections to get 187  Nah, too expensive IMHO. Stick to your Omega Seamaster Chrono.
