Would you consider putting a SS strap on a 111h?

It's THE smootest running watch I have. Winding it feels oiled & timekeeping is better than my gen eta's

i also have a SS bracelet on my 063, love it....for a certain time !

let me tell you about the 20 -30 $ bracelets on ebay.....you get what you pay for....they are the cheapest crap....and in mo way compareable to
the 70 - 90 $ ones. they almost weigh double !

I think it looks great, but the brushed & polished one. Its nice and heavy. Sometimes it fits better than with leather straps when using a shirt. I have it on my 111H most of the time, but sometimes goes to my Arktos and that combo looks reeeally sweet!!

Ive seen pics of 005 with it and that combo look awesome too...

I have my eyes on this watch as my next purchase. I guess a ss is a must. I like the size of the bracelet, looks HUGE. How is the comfort with the ss.

The size is not a problem, you can really feel it on your wrist and you wont stop looking at it. You will find yourself looking at it often and forget to read the time. :D

the 111 is such a classic and so versatile. looks great on a bracelet or strap. i've worn mine both ways, you can't go wrong.

IMO, it looks great both ways. Just prefer straps better for everyday. For those times when it can really wet eg fishing trip, a bracelet would not only look sharp, and you don't have to worry about it getting wet. Enjoy.

At first I was hesitant, and then after spending well over a grand on straps I took the plunge and bought a steel strap
for only 78 bucks from Trusty. If you want to but a gen steel strap the going rate is at least 2 thousand.

I like it best, it makes the 111 look very upscale and classy. The leather straps are good to have for the casual look.
