The bezel on cartel cases are thick as hell. They used to be much better and more gen looking (flatter tops and wider scalloping). I don’t know about buying any aftermarket ones but I sanded mine down quite a bit from the top and bottom. Looks better than it did but it isn’t close to gen. The majority of people will never notice it but us watch nerds do.

I’m ok with mine. Hard to tell from this pic but the top is much flatter and not as sharp as stock cartel and it’s not as tall. You can sand them down quite a bit and they work fine.

Watchman408 on ebay and it fits perfectly and firm.. only thing is that for some reason it doesn’t rotate- just probably my ineptitude but at least it looks the part.

I’m not sure if their businesses are connected, but WSO is based in Texas and watchman408 is in California. They probably source their stock from the same Chinese supplier(s). I’ve not had reason to get into a dispute with WSO and experience their customer service, but I have received some pretty poor inserts from them, and avoid them now.

Watchman408 is great. The bezel was shipped and delivered quick and best of all it’s a much better bezel than the fat stock one. Definitely recommend them!

Watchman408's bezel is one of the best options around. It needs some work though. For starters it needs to be completely polished, not an easy task considering its shape. Then it needs some fine tuning in order to work. Most often the inner diameter of the retaining ring must be enlarged a bit in order for the bezel to turn correctly, but go a little too far and you'll get an unusable bezel.

Fitted as best I could the watchman408. Definitely fits perfectly just need a bezel press because it’s tight. But looks much much better then stock. Excuse the crappy pics. I messed up the plexi so I ordered a new one..

Yes, agreed! The bezel makes all the difference, it's a totally different watch and transforms the look dramatically to the much loved 5513,,, nice looking piece good job on this mate
