watchservicesny amazing turn around considering how busy you must be with work from us rep addicts here. Sent my noob V3 Daytona to Mike for a service and repair to the chronograph. Had a slipping big second hand. He has serviced the movement, replaced the hands with nice aftermarket hands, replaced the crown, and Balance/Bridge with Gen, and made some other improvements. Watch should be on the way back to me soon and I can’t wait. Will update once I get to have the watch in hand. Excellent communication with Mike as well. He took the time to answer all my questions and give me straight honest feedback. Thank you Mike.

Mike was an absolute pleasure to deal with, and local to me so he was able to turn this project around in record time. I know he is super busy but I so appreciate the quick turn around.

Using a GMF v3 DJ 41 as a base with a VR3235 movement, Mike installed a gen crystal and gen datewheel. The final product came out beautifully.

Many thanks to Mike and look forward to working with him on future projects!

Looks great.

I’m thinking about a gen crystal for my in long CF DJ41. I know yours was a different factory, but I assume a gen crystal makes a huge difference on all factory models but is it worth almost as much as the watch itself? ($450ish for the gen NEW crystal)

Mike thanks, my 1980's ETA 2879 is back and running like new, 48 hrs. power reserve, +6 secs per day. This has been my experience with numerous old and more recent Rolex movements you have serviced, always a pleasure to do business with you.

Regards,
Rich

Let me tell ya'll just how great Mike is watchservicesny.

I sent him my noob daytona for a full service on 1-6-22 and Mike had it sent back to me by 1-19-22. Now keep in mind the watch was broken as far as I was concerned. The power reserve was abysmal and the seconds hand wouldn't even turn a full 60 seconds before stopping after a FULL WIND!

Mike serviced the watch and fixed the problem for the standard service cost. He did not charge me for repair parts and he fully pressure tested it at my request.

I received the watch and it worked well. The winding was smooth as butter but after about 9 wears it stopped working again. I reached out to Mike again and had the watch back with him first week of March.

He was prompt and kind in his response about my issue but said he'd "warranties his work but not repair parts." I understood this completely. Mike worked on my watch and had it back on my wrist free of charge.

This man is the real deal and he has my future business! He stands by his work and the turnaround time is insanely fast.

I was able to source hulk Gen dial and gen bezel again. Mike built this watch to the perfection again for me. He installed gen parts and movement serviced. Thanks Mike. Amazing work again.

This review is WAAYYYYY overdue!

Mike has added his touch to all my grail builds. Started with my first build, a 16610/116610 SUB that went through many versions and I’m sure my newbie questions/concerns were testing his patience, but he humored me and created an amazing piece. The 16710 was next, he made this build possible and when he had a spare dial - I couldn’t say no. Most recently a 116520/116500 (bezel) w/ a hybrid 4130 movement - this piece keeps amazing time. All have serviced movements with gen parts added, some parts sourced by me and other sourced by him. He’ll help where he can.

***NFS - don’t ask***

Mike is amazing and not surprising, a very busy guy. He’s not one to overextend or over-schedule his time, so if you have patience, willing to be flexible, and not expecting gen perfection (he’ll get it real close) - it’s definitely worth it! I like the straight to the point demeanor and he always delivers under his estimated time frame (at least that’s my experience)…. If you have a build in mind, he has the skill to make it come true!

He doesn’t now it yet, but a 16570 Polar is brewing…

Thanks Mike, for everything!

Just received my Daytona back from Mike. He performed full movement service, regulation, waterproofing up to 10 bars and bezel alignment. He did a fantastic job, I’ve been running the chrono non stop of couple hours past 3 days and have already submerged it under water. Everything’s working great. 100% recommended.

The third watch Mike serviced for me was my VSF 126610LN which stopped keeping time and showed signs of a loose cannon pinion. Watch is working the way it should now and winds up smoothly. Thanks again, Mike.
