This posted double by mistake. I can't find an option to delete.I bought a VSF Bluesy and it did look like cheddar, had to sell it because it looked off. I've heard Clean does the (fake) gold better. I stick to SS models for this reason. I would love to have gold but they just can't match real Rolex gold. Plating seems like a lot of effort considering that it scratches easily and eventually wears off.
if anyone ordered solid 18K gold watches before ? what's experience and cost about it ?
If I thought for a second I could pull it off, I would've snagged it.
thanks for your reply ,mateI got a price for a 128348RBR carnelian dial in 18k solid gold in which everything except the crystal and the movement was custom made - $17K.
Thank you! Forgot to add that its a genuine, need to get a rep gold watch to compare it to. I really want a 11/126508 with a green dialbeauty!!!
If referring to the Daytona with the sport dial, it's a highly modified rep of 116523 I picked up M2M from a renowned forum member some time ago. It's badass.I love the Blue, it really pops. Have two Gen Rolex, one from my Uncle, one from retirement from NASA. (As you can tell, I'd never spend my money on even a rep one lol). But man... That Blue one. Which one is that?
