The section is not dead, as the OP has admitted. Rolex is a popular section I would say, but not that far ahead of the PAM section.
We're missing some interesting releases and reviews. Besides generally PAMs don't have a ceramic bezel and this leaves us without anything to discuss

Heyy!! Almost the same combo as mine lmao!! I have a sd4k and am waiting for a pam1312.. how does it feel wearing a pam44 mills??

Ahh...ive got PAM1389 on its way because i like the ceramic bazel insert,green and blue luminor color plus with titanium case.
Cant wait for it!

Interesting post. I used to love PAM’s but if I’m honest, they’ve got a bit boring. There was a great era (IMHO) of the 292, 243, 111 etc but since then not much has done it for me....maybe apart from the 359/312.

Pam’s are come and go for me in my rotation, sometimes think have to many but always find the proper time to wear one. Rolex in my social circle is dominate and sometimes I get caught in a ring with others, making the Pam an unique choice.

Well as with people's tastes, they vary. Some people would stand by mostly beside one brand, some like diversity while the rest tend to flip flop between brands for one reason or another (boredom can be one of them). But Panerai has come out with new materials in recent years like Carbotech in the PAM616/661/PAM700 and BMG (although titanium in reps) or given some asked for variations, like 42mm submersibles, another Bronzo in the PAM671 and thinner watches like the Due line and the PAM01XXX using the P.9010 movement. I can't say it's better or worse than the other brands because I don't follow them with the same intensity as I do Panerai.
