Why is 177 "best" replica out there? what determines what model is next???

I assume if this holds true about the 177, then it does so for the 005 as well?

All the dealers based in GZ should be able to get this as they all have access to the factory, so it could be worth asking another dealer you like.

Yes, pino, TS has the same watch. If you get one of his promo watches it's about $30 cheaper, but on a leather strap.

It depends what level of flaws you're happy to accept. Most (99.999%) of the population will never even have heard of Panerai, nevermind know if your PAM rep is accurate. Personaly speaking, I wouldn't worry overly if you prefer the design of the 111 but it has more tiny flaws.

Buy watches you like, don't buy because everyone else says they like them!

if looking for a brown dialed pam, I advise you to wait.
the factory isn't that far away from kicking out the new 44mm 1950 style
caseset automatics. and when they do, there's a good chance this will
be coming out as part of their lineup:

brown numbers

brown dial (these titanium ones will only be made if the ss ones like above are popular)

and they also eluded to them making the following, and that would be
probably more than you're asking for:

brown everything >:-o


it won't be too long now I don't think, and waiting will probably be better
for you than going with what's out there now.

they say the casesets are done and looking amazing, the bracelets are done
and that the two of them meet up perfect (as in the 352 I have pictured up there).
I bet the dials and lume will be amazing, and the casebacks will probably also be
fantastic. it's just that pesky movement that has me worried.

You're not kidding when you say that the 386 rep is a possibility? How will they get the composite case correct in colour and feel... That is my number 1 watch in terms of wow factor and I would pay for the gen, but the AD assured me pretty much that I stand a zero chance of getting one.

And for the record I want a 1950 casing too. Perfect!

But before that I will snag a 236k first

386 is certainly a possibility. it was actually even said that it's already in
production, but I'm not too certain on that. it might have been an oversight
on the part of the messenger. supposedly of the 8 listed Panerai models
that house the p.9000, all but 4 are being made now. the 4 not being
made are the 3 titanium models and the bronze model. and if the rest
are successful, then the titanium will follow. no idea if they'll tackle the
382 or not, but I bet not.

Very true, but unfortunate. Like you said, the weight will be way off, and you would think that a composite case would be easier to make... Mold vs. stamping.

I just ordered the 177l from Timeshops, I'm hoping I get it soon. I didn't get a receipt or anything like that, but seems like everyone thinks the dealer is one of the best dealers on here next to Lay. If anyone is looking for a 177l, there is one in stock left I believe. I had to pay full price though, but figured might as well, at $228 + shipping, seems like a deals still. Has anyone here have input on TS? I'm in U.S. in CA, and I shipped EMS.

So MM you would recommend that 253 as a super rep? I'm really interested in the 253, any thoughts on that one? It looks to have the mini fiddy case and I wonder if they have the easy strap changing tool on there as well? Is this something Lay or TS would carry I assume as well?

Can anyone comment on the quality difference, if any, between Lay and Mike (Timeshops)? Lay just informed me that they're out of dials and titanium buckles which means no 177L before Chinese New Year.

I thought about just ordering from Timeshops. I just see so many good quality 177L from Lay which made me feel better ordering from him, but now, this sucks =/
