Lucy is only an option when you have been into this for years, order a watch a week from multiple TDs, have dozens of reps already and don't mind to forget about that order of a year or so
definitely not for newbies, nor for most non-newbies for that matter
Dammit, i took a look to her thread and see a lot of "no response" post. What is the point of using their services then ?
some old timer members love her. She takes time to get good watches and sources rare stuff. Plus I think she does some service and minor repairs before shipping.
Sounds fair, i understand now what you mean. It's better to have a long-term relationship with her. Commercially it's not the best thing to do to develop, but everyone manages their business as they see fit.
And I am a newbie! Was planning to write a post about the whole experience this weekend. I have listened to a lot on this forum and knew the risks but my experience has been really poor. I know I’m not buying from John Lewis but if I were and had a bad experience I’d detail on Trustpilot. And I think this is the alternative review site for replicas

Factory shutdown and then some personal reasons. All fair. But what has frustrated me is that a few times I’ve been told “should be by next week”. This is now months ago.What is the reason given for such a wait?

Thank you. I didn’t really know how to fully navigate the site. I simply saw the list of Trusted Dealers and then searched through the Search toolbar. Maybe not the right way but did lead me to a lot of articles. But thanks for showing me the shortcut. I appreciate itif you don't know, you did not do your research

Kidding aside, she is notoriously slow, but will get you a nice, hand-picked piece. If you have patience for 4 or 5 years.
OK, enough with the puns. Keep pinging her from time to time (but don't fill her up her inbox with 5 messages per day), go to her TD section and complain there. Highest chances that she'll see it. I don't believe she frequents the new members area much. She'll eventually get to completing your order. But you really picked the worst possible TD for speed priority. By a long shot... She has other qualities like an extremely accommodating QC service. Like it was said above: it's a TD for the experienced hardcore connoisseur, less for newbies.
