Serious question though as I'm still new. I've ordered from Hont and gave him me payment/GL on QC/ address. He's just replied "ok" a couple days ago. Is it normal to need wait a while before hearing back with tracking number?

Yes ! Give him perhaps another day and then give him a polite nudge to see he has a tracking number for you .

Don't worry, he's just very efficient in responding, like most TDs are actually, perhaps he's a bit "better" at it than others.

But let's face it, they have to make a living, have VERY limited time and in the end, if we're perfectly honest, we all prefer them to spend their time figuring out where to get that discontinued rep or how to cleverly send their parcels even stealthier than the last time, as opposed to investing it to build cute mail friendships with us.

If I want to drone on to unemployed, lobotomized slackers (like myself) to chit chat about the latest God tier Casio release for 7 hours non-stop, I go to Nico Leonard's sub on Reddit, but I don't bother our TDs. They are busy getting us the best reps in the world!

So... Just be cool! No, even better: Be RWI-cool and show some scary stoic, borderline catatonic patience while waiting for a TD to respond and to ship your order and you may even impress an oldtimer or two on here.

It's normal, don't sweat it. Now all TDs have s*!tloads of work after cny and apart from that he may wait for a regular pickup from his post guy. Also after you get tracking, be very patient. It can last a lot and tracking may not give you any comfort for a long time, complete radio silence. Such is the rep game.

Trust us. He is! I ordered stuff with him last month, shortly before CNY hit and it was absolutely stress-free. I got lucky, because he had what I wanted in stock.... So if that's not the case, sourcing it from the factory can take a while, especially now right after CNY.

I literally just said I will be purchasing the real watch because the hassle of reps doesn’t seem to be worth it you’re such a fucking nerd. I was very happy with mx first two orders from Hont, thr third one was kind of ok, fourth and fifth were awfull. I guess it comes down to what watch was desired and who you get on their side to deal with you. Would I deal with them again - probabbly, because at least I know their packages always reached me without issues and their preices are very competitive. Would I recommend them further - well, only with a note - proceed with caution. A bit of a gambling experience, low level basic English communication and very poor customer support when sth goes wrong. Even RWI intervention did not really help.
