Hands are original rep relumed

I wonder if it is possible to relume the pearl and the dial (12,6 and subdial at 9) with a paint like the hands'. This would make it very close to Gen.

I love that buckle ... I understand they don't have much of a curve to them ... is it comfortable to wear ?
