Planning to get gen Rolex sometime soon. I don't want to buy simple watches or which can be replicated easily. I'm looking at BLNR /Batgirl or Sky-Dweller on jubilee. How are the watches in rep market? Do we have super reps for these? I bet not for SkyD. What else is the suggestion here and not looking for gold watches for this purchase.

It's an interesting question, but it seems a shame (or a bit odd) to limit the choice based on a the criteria of there not being a decent rep of it.

I reckon most people (the tiny number who even notice) assume anyone wearing a Rolex is wearing a fake Rolex, and there's no getting around that!

I'd really strongly suggest you buy what you like. I'd go for the new Deep Sea Challenge. No one is going to miss that and it's definitely not a super rep.

If you want

1) Not simple (i.e) has complications
2) Non Gold
3) Not replicable

The only watch is a Skydweller. The annual calendar function with the control bezel is not replicated and probably never will be.

If it was me and I was going to buy a Rolex it would need to be a Rose Gold/Yellow Gold DayDate 40 presidential. That is the most iconic statement piece out of the entire lineup for me and absolutely beautiful.

buy the watch that you like and afford.
Skydweller is not and probably won't be repped very well in the short/medium term.
Or, get an Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch. The reps are very bad, it's hard to rep the co-axial movement.

What a very uncharacteristic post from the OP.
How is that so? I have good fair amount of reps and gens (like many here). I know most of the reps now a days are 90% closer to gen and no point in buying those in gen again, I can rather buy reps if needed. If I need to buy gens, it should be which I can't buy in reps or enjoy them like Sky dweller. How is this uncharacteristic post? I gave an example of SD and looking to see if any other options exists?

Ignore me, I've misread your post.

Skydweller, everything else has fairly good reps. Or get a platin model of one of the others

a gold or two tone - the stainless reps are made so well it makes the gen kind of disappointing

Then maybe getting your shit from the AD isn't for you.

Stick to cheap watches.
Lol, hilarious. I already said I have mix of both gen and rep watches. Buying gen watches which reps are not made well is problematic for you? Lol.
