This is incredible , The Dial, Lume and hands fantastic, The Domed crystal fantastic, The bezel confuses me, is this something I have never seen I don't understand , Please enlighten me.

Wow now that is serious. I did mean the bezel in fact. In total this is fantastic build. What model number would this be? I know genuine spec cases are expensive and have heard and seen a few but not MQ???

I assume you are asking about the brass bezel ring and not the insert. Just in case. The insert is a gen MKII long five.
It's an MQ gen spec case set and bezel. Gens of this era were brass under stainless. Most (the handful) of gen examples left in the world the SS is gone and only the brass remains. This was done purposefully. I think it help brings out the gilt on the dial and hands. The dial is hand made on a gen plate in the old genuine fashion so a true gilt dial.

This "is" a 1956 6538. Took a long time to source all the parts.
