This is Awesome because I never really liked the flat crystal with 90 degree edge that most 1680s have, Would this ever be found on a factory gen 1680? is this something anyone has seen on a genuine? What does the profile look like?

Yes. Gen owners were given the option at the AD of having a T19 or the tophat. You could choose either one at the time of delivery, or come in later and have it changed. There is a great thread on TRF with 1680s and T19 domes.

There are 3 profiles for the T19 - service dome, dome, and super dome. By the way, Clark sells both the service dome and super dome of you want to change yours.

Personally, I prefer the look of the T19 service dome. It has a great low profile and really makes the dial pop. There's a great thread I have bookmarked from here showing all 3 profiles side by side of both the T19 and T39. The T39 also has the same 3 profiles.

I'll try to find that one and the TRF link. I have both in my computer.
