Trying this cheapy.
Not a true rivet obviously. It has one rivet per removable link that has a slot for a flathead. You really have to look to see them.

Switched to this for our ice storm on the east coast.
First attempt "fixing" a horrible Pearl on this cheapy smurf. I don't think I have a close up before picture. It was very tall and yellowed. I sanded and cleared it. It is still horrible. Practicing on cheapies before trying something more valuable.
Quick question-is this bezel insert supposed to have the platinum numbers or white? I cannot tell from pictures I have seen.

Honestly man? It's the best value gen out there at $3500 in my opinion. You figure you'll pay 2x that for a ceramic sub (which EVERYONE has) and this has such a cool modern take on vintage goodness. The GILT chapter ring and text is mesmerizing in the sun and the dial texture is almost a glittery effect. It's comfortable to wear on both the bracelet and the NATO and can be worn with anything and everything. Tudor hit it out of the park.

The NATO is the best part I think, so comfortable, and it wears smaller than most people make you think. Looks great!

The gens I've seen have Platinum numbers. No idea if older versions had white, but currently they are Platinum.

The cyclops has been removed and that makes it 100x better. My collection is always a revolving door, I'm sure in 90 days there will only be one or two of those watches left and others in its place. It's an addiction I cannot control haha
