Thank you man. I'm still curating my collection, the whole thing is my wishlist. So far I've got the 6538, 1655, 2508, 6536. I got a tc v7extreme sub and a miyota pp 5227 for daily wearer. The later two are pretty decent watches but they can't go on the same line as the other 4, those are loaded with gen parts and the special thing, they all have gen period correct movements.

Just to tack on - no one, and I mean no one I've come in contact with - has heard of Patek, Audermars, Lange, Breguet and Vacheron.

I see a handful of Tags, a couple Rolex & Omega, lots of the usual suspects like Fossil, Movado, Skagen, Casio, Seiko, and I've seen 1 Panerai.

Watches are a tool to most. Those who want a watch to celebrate a promotion or something get the $1-2k watches. The people with money to burn or wanted a really nice gift get the Rolex or Omegas.

Correct. Patek Philippe never made a 5711 with black dial..

Patek Philippe made a grey dial only with black leather strap as a white gold version only (not with bracelet)
