I’m going through this same evolution... guilty, finding myself in the Ed hardy section a lot lately.
Thanks brother. Despite its flaws, I am really loving this watch. It's a bit flashier than the more traditional calatravas, and yet still relatively understated. It also wears like a 40mm. If you can live with the faux pushers and the 24hr hand, it's a winner in my book!
Thank you very much for the confirmation, the size looks great, I have plenty of faux pushers on my reps, that doesn't bother me. At least aesthetically, they perfected that.. my only issue would be the white ring around the hands, it stares me in the eyes, if that could get resolved, I would jump on that one.. although my rule lately is not to buy anything bigger than 40mm, that's my limit for looking good on my wrist, but since you are saying it wears like 40mm, then this would be in the wish list for now.. until I resolve the issue of the white ring circulating the middle of the hand stack.

Yeah that's the question mate.... I want a Pilot watch. And this one is really one of my favorites. I'm just not sure if i can accept the flaws, which are pretty big... Visually maybe it's only the center ring, but the faux pushers and 24hr's i'm not sure if i will be able to accept it.
