It was your watch on WUS that inspired me to install the PO bezel. Thinking about switching back and I've had an offer to buy my bezel. Do you know if a rep bezel fits the gen case?

Can't believe these run at 25,200 BPH.

From what I understand, the co-axial movements run at 25.2k bph to "improve reliability and durability". The slower beatrate doesn't have an impact on accuracy and is supposed to come with benefits over 28.8k bph.

I've never owned a co-ax Omega movement - is there a noticeable effect on second hand sweep? I assume not but I've never seen it.

Just looks slower, if that sounds weird.

Can't see why not, but please please please don't put a rep bezel on that beautiful watch!

Eh...I don't think that would bother me, as long as it's a quality rep part. It would just be a temporary change up for when I get tired of the stock bezel. I do sometimes wear the gen head on a rep 1610 bracelet and rep rubber, so "aftermarket" parts are not an issue for me.

my first omega. I might've found my new daily. I bought this on a whim, and thought I'd try it but probably flip it, but I'm really feeling this one.

Yes to that! Or Super Franken at least better be accurate :)

The first co-axial movements actually ran at 28.8k bph but they had massive problem with movements that randomly stop and the oiling of the escapement needed to be extremely precise to work well they change the beat rate to a lower more reliable 25.2k bph with the 2500C movement around 2007.
