Still the best SMP imho, gen and rep alike. The ceramic case is simply fantastic for OCD crippled freaks like myself. Just change out straps as you please, no masking tape, no loupe, no scratches. Wonderful!

Thank you! You are absolutely right. I love the simple design and the extremely clean finish. However: I, also OCD, am as careful with this watch as I am with my other watches. I actually managed to get scratches in a ceramic case years ago. So it is definitely possible

Don't get me wrong. Except for the masking tape, I still handle it like the most sensitive and precious Baby skin, as if I could scratch it as easily as 316L, even though I know for a fact I can't. Totally irrational mental barrier. OCD level Adrian Monk times 100. 🫣

And regarding your scratched ceramic. WTF dude? You are aware you're not supposed to work on it with a jack hammer, right? Duh!

Unfortunately it was a ceramic PAM 613 from KW
I even scratched a ceramic insert of a VSF Seamaster 300M.. a little bit. So I say it’s definitely possible to scratch ceramic same as it’s also possible to scratch sapphire xtals.
