What is this Tag?

I picked up this watch today at a garage sale. While I'm pretty sure it is a replica, I couldn't identify what model it is. It looks like a Carrera Calibre but it has a very unusual wristband design. What surprises me that for a watch that has quite a bit of wear on it - the steel is quite scratched - it's glass is unscratched, as if it was real sapphire glass. Is that a common material in replicas?
It's a pretty heavy watch too.

So far I've never seen such a TAG before, not even in gens. It might be a complete counterfeit.

LOL it looks like they grabbed a shit watch, opened it up.... printed a shit tag logo and glued it on HAHAHAHA.
looks like it could be a crappy link knockoff though if it was based off something.
