Sorry to dig up an old thread, but I am in Thailand and wondered if this Noobmariner is still a rep worth sourcing or have the Noob V5 Submariners become better regarded?
Long gone are the times for the Noobmariner - and it was only around $110. Noob V5 is sold out but will be back soon.

My my, how he has risen!! Like smokiedabong said - in a year's time became dealer of the year here
Not to pry or anything, (& yes we are all Noobs once, etc) - but I thought I had read in an interview with Angus that Ryan was a long-time customer, buying lots of watches etc. Surely he would know what Noob Factory was if that was the case. Or, if not - to be able to work his way up in the ranks, deal with the bosses of Noob & JF, V6F, etc in the "underworld" within such a short time is TRULY AMAZING!
Hats off to Ryan, makes me really appreciate his accomplishments that much more!
On a side note - do the TDs here (Angus, Ryan, Toro, ++others) actually deal (ever?) with ONE actual boss of each factory? Is there one highly involved owner/"president" aka head honcho? Or is the main boss man very mysterious, never present, only works & communicates through various employees, name unknown, and therefore nearly noone knows who he is? (I.e. more safe that way....)
