Hi guys!

I'm looking for a rep that can be used as a daily beater, and also is swimmable (5atm).

Would love to see some suggestions from you guys:thinking:

Thanks!

Sometimes I wish I had a "daily neater". Instead it takes me 15 min every morning deciding which watch to wear for the day.

However I do have a suggestion for a daily beater. Breitling SOSF. Looks good with a dress shirt or t-shirt. Decent WR with just greases gaskets.

Haha, I got the same problem. I'm quite often late at school when I have to pick the right watch.

Can you recommend me a TD which sells this watch? And do you suggest me going to a local jeweler to test the WR and grease the gaskets?

Thanks for the suggestion tho.

Pretty sure all of our TD's carry it. They also come up pretty regularly in the m2m area.

Id find a watch smith on the forum or do a search on how to find a rep friendly watch smith locally.

Where could I find one in Holland? Don't see any in the Watchmakers section.

Can't help ya there, I'm in 'Murrica. I'd stay away from big box stores. Find a couple of small local places, call them, tell them what you're looking to get done. Some places have absolutely no problem working on reps, others won't touch them. Shouldn't be too hard for just greasing and wr testing. You could also keep an eye out for one that's already had this done in m2m.

I will try to find one nearby. Thanks for the help.

Last question: what will the costs be of waterproofing a watch like the Super Ocean?

Thanks again.

Thats pretty cheap. Can you actually waterproof every watch? I'm looking at the Patek Nautilus atm.

Most well made watches with a screw in crown and case back can achieve some degree of water resistance. Fake HEVs need to be sealed. If it's not a screw in crown or case back, keep it away from water!

Okay thanks.
Can you fully trust the WR as given on the website of Puretime? Or do you still recommend getting it tested at a local jeweler?

Really love that Pam. It is a shame my wrists are too thin :(

I have 6.5 inch wrists and it wears fine on me. It is slightly large but that is what I love about it. How big are your wrists?
Somewhere around 6 inch. I actually just sold one AP Royal Oak Offshore because I think it is to big for my wrists.
