People who think unions are detrimental have a dangerously narrow-minded view of life and are a hazard to the spiritual evolution of the human species.

You folks have been brain-washed so much you can't even look 1 cm away from your asshole to see that without a union you are DOOMED in the long run.

An example? Teachers in the UK. Since unions have lost power (bcuz of human stupidity and greed/vested interest) teachers pay and conditions have plummeted down in a frightening spiral in the past 5 years. So quick it made their heads spin!

Workers with a STRONG, single and united union on the other hand (eg BOB CROW and the RMT) have seen their pay and conditions improve as well as a number of backdated payments.

It's not rocket science ppl. United we stand, divided we fall.
Same for every trade, army, company every damn thing you do in life.

George Carlin was quite the genius. Btw, I am pro - union and a democrat. That said I do have different views on unions in the public versus the private sector. It pisses the shit out of me to see government bureaucrats with amazing health benefits, pensions, and really good salaries, doing the bare minimum in system the encourages people not to excel or go the extra mile for fear of making their fellow workers look bad. If pay is based entirely on seniority versus quality of work and shitty workers are rewarded with cushy "do nothing" jobs to keep them out harms way, serious reform is needed.

I try not to shop at Walmart. But some times there is no choice. Where else can you find plasma tv, diapers for adults, shotgun shells, and tires at 3am in the morning.

Walmart is a lot cooler by you. No gun sales in NY or tires and it closes at 9. It does have adult diapers and Televisions though.

George Carlin was greatest comedian, I only don't like his "fart" jokes, it's cheap, dirty, and uncultured. That's why I love Bill Maher way more. He's full of bullshit, constantly contradict himself in political statements, but, God, he's fantastic comedian. And no "fart" jokes.
