Thanks mate, you'll love it. I'm still amazed at the quality.Man that is so nice. Can't wait to get mine.
What's the story with this one mate?
@ckvintage hands clearly gen and thought dial was too and to get the working sub at 3 you would have had to slip in another movement. Looks great, how did the 7753 fit into the case (BP?) as I can see what looks like a slight gap between dial and bezel at 12, or is that just a loose movement holder? I guess the trade off with the 7753 is the loss of the quick date change but well worth it to get this beauty. Do the tachy markings line up with the gen dial?
Sorry to hear about your probs, and yes its a helluva round trip to Finland and back. Is there no one in Aus who can help? Ref the dial/bezel gap i had this with my Navi World, took off the caseback to check the movement tab was properly screwed in, which it was and fixed it by removing the closest tab and turning it over so it pulled the dial up to the bezel.you are right that there is a slight gap between dial and bezel at 12. I did not know this until I have the watch on my hands 1.5 weeks ago (from ssteel). The sub seconds (at 3 & 6) are not behaving too; it will not reset to zero. No quick date change too ( I can live with that). No more recess date wheel!! Gen dial is slight bigger and modder has sanded down a bit to get it fitted.
Brand new ETA7753 was from the modder as well and the sub seconds annoy me each time when I look at it and it is not worth sending back to Finland to fix them though.
Apart from all that, everything else is good especially the gen "blue" dial takes it to the next level. I like it so much. I am in search of new leather strap to compliment the watch. Any suggestion?

My vote is for croc brown with cream white stiches.am going to send them to my watchmaker here after xmas. They are TOO busy now.
can't decide which leather strap to go with; croc blue (either blue or white stitches) or croc brown (either cream white or brown stitches) or smooth blue/brown padded leather strap. :atwitsend:
