Skyland looks great on the canvas. Is that a gen canvas if you don't mind me asking (since you're propping on a strap box)? I'm kinda thinking of investing in a gen canas strap. Have it as rep on my blackbird and blacksteel cobra avenger and like the feel. But if the gen was a step up in quality, I think it would go well with a number of watches......if gen, where did you get and are they much cheaper than AD?

I've gone a little strap crazy with both gen and rep and have to say @Arpy has done a great review of the rep canvas strap which I agree with is as far as rep straps go leaps and bounds forward. Compared to quality of my gen straps I would definitely not go gen on the canvas which I was considering which says a lot since I just bought a gen blacksteel deployant.

Great piece, I've got the gmt blacksteel and am looking to get the blackbird as well - previous version had crown stripping issue, how are you finding it?

Thanks buddy, yes gen and just arrived today!
Tang didn't do it justice for me so I went gen straps and buckle...at some cost but don't regret it at all! Super rep to the next level!
Now I think I'll order the blackbird to see how it looks!
