Thanks mate. Love this watch. And the guilloche is pretty nice.

Honestly, pretty impressive to slip in four different guilloche (guilloches? guillochings?) into a rep dial. And at least from your pic the rep strap (unless you've replaced it with something nicer) isn't too shabby either. Makes me itch to look at the TD offers a little :p You mind telling me the case diameter?

Case diameter is 40mm though I have not measured it personally. Strap is custom made from an ostrich leg. I'll take a pic when I can :D

Damn I knew that looked too good to be a rep strap.

Here you go mate :D

Hi Vinvin7. Very nice rep of the Hora Mundi 5717, although the dial texture is missing a few notches. Plus the cloud is on the wrong side of the sundial. Still, very interested in a rep of the 5717.

May I ask you to point me to the right TD for this? Also, is the 8 o'clock pushbutton functional at all (i.e. Does it switch timezones)?

Couldn't agree more!
Some more pics:

:shok::shok:

Dammit I was going to order the 5157 rep and now that I see this I am not sure which I prefer. They are both equally beautiful.
I thought only the 5157 was made with this thinner case (without the movement engravings as well).

Do you have a link for the 5967? I can only find the steel and rose gold 5157 on ts-watch.
Also do you know if they made these with a yellow gold case too? Thanks.

Awesome pictures btw...

The 5967 is also on TSwatch:

The last one is the model I've got, and although in the TS pics it has closed hand tips, the watch I got fortunately has the correct open tips.
As to which one to choose, the 5967 or the 5157: both of course!

The 5967 definitely is the thinnest rep I've seen. I have an older version with a manual hand wind and it measures just 7.8 mm thickness (see photos below - on a black alligator strap).

I do find that version to be truer to the original, than the new Miyota one, in terms of the guilloche pattern (see closeup - there is a difference), and the wording (it should say "Swiss Guilloche Main", NOT "Swiss Made").

I'm afraid I have to disagree with you. I concede your point on the wording beneath the 6 o' clock position, but on other major points your version is more off than the one I've shown (which is also the more recent version).
Just look at this gen picture, and then compare the hands, the crown, lugs and case shape (your fluted sides stick out to much). Also the guilloche pattern is not really closer to the gen than mine I think:

I also concede that on my version the crown (which btw I changed, so it is from another watch), lugs and the case shape leave something to be desired (although you have to keep in mind that this was an early cheapie version :)).

However, the guilloche, I don't know. The optical illusion with this geometric pattern doesn't help but it looks to me like the lines on the cubes on your version are on the wrong face (i.e. you are missing the vertical lines).

Here are closeups of all three:

First the gen:

Then your version:

And mine:

Either way, it's a beautiful piece!

Which one to wear today?

Quite the Breguet collection you have :).
Can't help but wonder what the ones above are, although I am pretty sure one of them is the 5967.

Thx.
They're reps from these Breguet models (from left to right):

  • The Tourbillon Messidor (5335pt/42/9w6), although my rep is more of a fantasy inspired by this Breguet. There's a more accurate rep available but the hands are so tiny on that one...
  • The Tourbillon Automatic Power Reserve (5317pt/12/9v6). Sure it's not 100% accurate but IMO still one of the best and beautiful Breguet reps.
  • The Classique 5157bb/11/9v6.

The 5967 is not in the pic with the other three, but I do own this rep also and it's discussed in one of the posts above.

Thanks for the detailed explanation but you misunderstood my previous post.

I meant: I wonder which are the other 3 watches that are one row above these 3 and which are cut out of the picture.
