Circling back to factories. There may have been more than one factory making them pre 2020. I heard that AL factory was associated with the white/silver dial version.

That said, like elsewhere in China there is quite a bit of verticial integration in the business chain as well as horizontal grouping

I bonded with this one immediately and after putting that strap on it, it is a keeper for life
