These new watches are really awesome reps. Indeed the best versions available so far.
PAM 441 could not e a super rep due to GMT 24 hrs instead of 12 hrs like gen, and the crown functions which are not at all the same as gen
PAM 312 has the advantage of not having GMAT function but the crown functions remain the same (inaccurate and obvious flaw. If we consider it a Super rep it would be"bordering lower status". Although I would lean towards: First Class rep bordering Super rep status
We will see
ALE

Hi Ale,
Just wondering, what do you mean with "crown functions remain the same" ? Are there any other functions to the crown of gen 312 other than to set the clock and date?

The gen P.9000 allows the user to move the hour hand independently of the minute hand.

Correct. There is no quickset date on the gens. Instead the hour hand moves in 1 hour incriments. You can move it forward and backwards. It can be a great feature... or annoying when you need to change the date 15 days ;)

So after I gave my vsf 312 to my older vrother, then the v6f 312 to my younger brother, I just had to get another one..... So got another vsf 312. Added a custom strap to it.

A few pics. What a beauty.

It's been a long time since the last post, but I have to share my problem with you.

I bought this version in September 2019. Unfortunately, it immediately had a problem with a malfunctioning rotor. It turned one way without resistance, and the other very hard. As far as I know, this mechanism has a double-sided winding.
After a few days, the rotor blocked in one direction (in resistance way). Therefore, it stopped working every few dozen hours. I had to wind it with a crown. It wasn't a working watch. I contacted the seller and he told me to send it back for repair. I am writing briefly, because it was not so easy to force him to do so.

The watch was turned back from the border. I tried again and the luck came. The seller was unable to say anything specific "because he is only the seller". In my opinion, there should be contact with the maker and I should get feedback. OK, it's actually more important, that the watch comes back in working order.
Unfortunately, it was not given to me. The watch came back in practically the same condition. I got pissed off and demanded a refund. Head against the wall, of course. However, after many e-mails (in which he asked about nonsense such as how I wear the watch), he decided to have it repaired - the entire mechanism was to be replaced.
I thought great! I sent and waited, waited, finally a feedback with tracking number.

And ass. The first three days it worked and in the morning it stopped (I had it on my wrist all the time). I wound it with lace. It walked for 3 days and stopped again (still on my hand).
I checked the rotor and it only turned in one direction. I ask the seller what is it about, has it been repaired? "Of course and checked too."
Nerves again and lots of e-mails. Then he graciously asked me: "Are you able to remove the rotor and reinstall ?" OK, I can try - it is not to hard (I'm not a watchmaker). After removing the rotor, I noticed, that the little gold gear underneath it does not rotate in one direction (I checked very gently with a toothpick). He told me "Apply a little clear lubricant and see if it will free things up?". Damn, what oil, I have nothing like that. I have to buy everything now and rummage in the clock myself? I told him that and a few other words and he fell silent.

I assembled without lubrication and at the beginning the rotor was spinning like crazy in one direction and not in the other. The watch stopped walking so I shook it and it worked again. After a dozen or so hours, I noticed, that the rotor started to turn in both directions the same and with a slight scratch. Surprisingly, waving it for several seconds made it wind up and work. Unfortunately, for a few hours or less. I had it in my hand and it was not enough for it, I had to wave it on purpose. It also turned out that the crown no longer winds the watch.

I do not give this seller on purpose yet, maybe he is reading this forum and he will act honorably and professionally.
What's your opinion guys? I can't fix it myself (I have not experience), and I don't know such a watchmaker in the area.

I would be grateful for your experience and comments.

Bought in September 2019 from where? A TD? Must be such a great dealer to give you more than 6 months warranty. If you encountered such a problem and could not resolve it, people would have suggested to contact the sales mods to mediate. But unless you have a lot of patience, I would rather have it fixed locally than to send it back to China. Fiddling with a watch's movement can be tricky especially if you don't possess the know-how. You might cause more harm to the watch.

Fix it locally. I had a minor issue with a watch cheaper and easier to get sorted by one of the smiths on here . Dependa where your based but I send mine to another country lol

I bought mine in September 2019. From Torobravo. And I am delighted with him.
But I must say something. As soon as I received it, as I always do with all my watches, I took it to my watchmaker to service it and make it waterproof.
This unit was a bit behind schedule. Nothing important, but it had to be calibrated.
Change of gaskets for original Panerai, cleaning and greasing of the entire movement and since then the watch works perfectly. Then you replace the straps with originals and the result is a fantastic watch.

We must not forget that these watches are toys, expensive, but toys after all. Made in China. Most of the time with little care. In my opinion they need a professional service before using them. Even in that case, they sometimes break down. It's frustrating, but that's the way it is. It is very difficult for a damaged watch to return from China fixed. They manufacture, they do not fix. Not to mention the risk of losing your watch on the way between one customs office and another. Better to find a good watchmaker (even if it's in another country) and send it in for repair. Only when there is no choice, can you send it to the factory and hope (pray if you know and believe) that they return something like a working watch. Merry Christmas everyone.

No, as I wrote, after a few days I made a complaint for the first time.
I tried to negotiate and there is no way to exchange it for another copy, let alone a refund.
As I wrote, unfortunately there is no one locally who can deal with the repair. I searched the forum and found no one in CE.

Edit:
Sorry for this post. My page didn't refresh and I haven't seen any more posts.
I understand to look for a watchmaker in another country.
Sorry for my ineptitude in searching on the forum, but I haven't seen the section with recommended watch repair specialists.
I found only single topics.

You have to be more specific. not everyone is familiar with the term CE. Central Europe? CE is more well known as a certification mark on products, not as a description for any particular country. Paraphrasing Jerry Maguire "Help us help you". :)

Yes, I mean Central Europe. I didn't think about the certification mark. Sorry.

However, am I so limited, that I can't find the watchmakers section in the forum? There are recommended sellers, but I understood, that with these watches, professionals are also needed to prepare the watches for use.
