Well by definition a back door sale offers no forum protection so I would not hold my breath, and is against forum rules for exactly this reason. I'd suck it up, send it to a watchsmith who will deal with you, get it fixed and just enjoy it.

Bottom line is I sold you a working watch. When you sent the watch back to me it was running just fine once it was actually wound sufficiently to actually have a power reserve! I have your email from when I returned it, confirming that it was running great and keeping perfect time.

It subsequently had an unrelated issue, a few weeks later, based on what you told me and what [MENTION=35495]Strodda[/MENTION] subsequently found, which I bent over backwards to help you resolve - as described ad nauseum in my long post above.

Neither I nor [MENTION=35495]Strodda[/MENTION] offered you any kind of extended warranty on this piece. You seem to imply you are entitled to one. I'd suggest buying only genuine watches in the futures, then you direct all your angst to an A.D. or service center, where they have paid customer service to handle your demands.

Unfortunately you've burned your bridges with me, Strodda, and I suspect the mods/admins here. Which is unfortunate, as if the watch did have a keyless issue on return, it is a simple fix that Strodda would have taken care for likely no charge. A real (non-forum) watchmaker charges about $75-80 to reset the keyless on a 2836 movement, by the way. I have one locally that has done this for me numerous times, as I don't like handling dials.

But do as you wish. I have every one of your emails, including the abusive rants you sent to [MENTION=35495]Strodda[/MENTION]. I'll post one here so others can have an idea of what we've been dealing with...

If you indeed refunded [MENTION=139103]netsub[/MENTION] after trying to scam him - which I really hope you did - and assuming you still have the watch, I'd suggest selling it as-is (with a purported keyless issue on position#2), or parting it out to recoup your investment. Of course that would have to be on Craigslist or another rep forum, as you are now persona non-grata on RWI.

Sir @Raddave please check your fact again, I returned the money around 10am EST, check with your buyer again. All of you here were pushing me hard to get the buyer's money back and yet he got the money and didn't even come here to confirm it? wait! is it my fault too?? But I would like to say this: it seems like nobody from this forum (grown up or not) have ever got really mad and cursed once or twice in their lifetime. We here all said nice thing and praise each other with God's words. NO, nobody ever got mad and cursed when you lost $600 for a broken watch and No, nobody ever cursed a thing when you just spent $60 to have a watch fixed and it came right back broken. I guess I'm a bad guy here, I cursed when I was mad and didn't get what I want. I guess I would come back and learn how to be nice to people. Sorry! My bad! I'm so sorry my language. what are you talking about? gift? he sent me $320 and I got charged $13.75 for it. Ask him he will tell you if it was true. I can't even send the money directly to him in Israel. Go ahead and go to paypal to see if there is an option to send money to Israel. That is why I asked him to send the money request. He did, and I did send him the money! whatelse you want me to do?

Correct thing to do here, [MENTION=13090]sgthuan[/MENTION], is issue a Paypal •refund• on the payment you received from the buyer. They return the money as well as any fees paid.

If you go into the PP app, you have option of refunding any recent payment; either partial refund on a regular purchase, or full refund on a friends/family=gift payment.
