Not sure why people take in work if they cant send it back within a couple days MAX. Don't take any work you can't get to immediately. Crazy.

I don't think that's realistic for all business models....
Personally, I think that two months is the absolute max for holding someone’s money or watch
If a watch needs repair this isn't reasonable. I don't expect the customer to do the troubleshooting on their own. Lots of the time I open the watch, find the issue, let the customer know I am ordering parts and the date I'll get them will probably be whatever it is, and then it's a waiting game. This cannot be done in a few days. It's weeks or months depending on the part. But 2-3 days is a bit crazy

i have big, big suspicion that this is absolutely the same guy.I wanted to know if nikz19 and nickwatchstore are the same people?
Yes I agree if you are waiting on parts that need to be replaced.
For anything else - dial swaps/parts installation/quick troubleshooting? No more than a week.

Same. I learnt the hard way, now I can service all my own watches. I even learnt how to service and repair the Accutrons from the 60s and 70s.This is why we're seeing an increase of members just learning to do their own work, myself included. Sad.
Good to know for when my Accutron 666 needs a service.I even learnt how to service and repair the Accutrons from the 60s and 70s.
