A Blast from the Past!

Hi, Gang!

Tonight's piece from the ole watch boxes is this Rolex Sea Dweller I purchased from Silix back in late '09, for $30 -- one of their famous "specials." This was when Jee was working for Silix. I believe I wore this once or twice way back then & thought I'd add this to my rarely-worn watch presentations. After sitting in the box for all those years, the seconds began moving after I had picked up the watch to look at it. Fairly smooth sweep for an A21j; great lume as well as great time keeper, too. How 'bout that? dave:

Stick a pin or straightened out paper clip in the "Non-screw head" side and apply some pressure when unscrewing.... works every time.

This IS the screw head side thinking I am going to have a good time here as you can see no slot left
