This IS the screw head side thinking I am going to have a good time here as you can see no slot left

Is your rubber strap pliable enough to compress it and expose enough of the screw shaft between the lugs to get tiny needle-nose pliers on it? That would be much easier than messing w/ the screw ends. A (very) little hair dryer heat can help soften the rubber and loosen up those stuck threads. Tape off the inside of the lug to prevent scratches.

Yes it is pliable that will be the first approach, 2nd will be compress strap+drimmel tool with cutoff wheel attachment cut in 1/2 slide strap off have a much better go at turning left over screw out of threads and replace with springbars that look like the screws, I prefer those better on my 026 and 312 even thought the 312 has the quick change pins I don't care for them it is easier for me with springbars

Success stripped screw and head removed rubber strap didn't survive but no additional scratches and I have a brand new H Factory rubber strap should the need arrise

Thanks actually this one came from a member here in the for sale section originally purchased from panatime. Crazy I joined here looking for a Rolex sub (imagine that) got bit by the Pam bug and well as they say the rest is history I now have 12 reps a gen and more Pam straps then I care to admit all in 3 damn months :)

Welcome to the strap frenzy! (strapwhoreizm) I got into Hadley Roma lacquered crock straps for my Pams. Wallet shrink syndrome at its finest! :cheers:
