Thanks, the specs:
- Raffles modding & reshaped 1675 GMT case
- Raffles Dial and DWO w/open 6 & 9
- Gen spec plexy crystal
- Viet Bezel assembly (Gen spec)
- Gen insert
- Athaya 5.3 crown
- 1,8 mm new springbar
- Old handset from a GMT rep
- Swiss ETA 2636-2 Top Grade w/A2836 GMT parts
- The bracelet (Oyster) it's a high quality modding Oyster replica with a Raffles clip and some GEN link alternatively I mount it with a vintage Italian leather strap like in my other post
Lot of work into the watch....that clearly paid off. good job!!

Done a bit of DIY aging on some cheap bezel inserts from eBay. Just a bit of light sanding and soaking in bleach.
Quite pleased - although slightly overdid the black I think. Before and after pics below

was cruising Trusty site tonight and noticed he offers a gmt with a eta 2836 with 1570 rolex cal engravings.
yes its just an eta with engravings....but its nice to see that they have done this now. Not much of a stretch with the 3135 ect clones they make now. its about time they took it back to the old school.

the movement looks cool better crown guards and bezel .
anyone have one ? curious on impressions.

@369mafia , Andrew has had those for a few years now. Same used in the 1655 he has. Fun pieces.

“This product was added to our catalog on Sunday 29 August, 2010.”

me thinks this is the rumoured 1570 clone floating around rep websites

I didn´t know it either....and seeing the price (300$)vs the ones you could make with vit/ milk cases, vit dials etc... (1000$),I wonder: what would be the biggest difference in terms of quality since the movement it´s not?
The case? the dimensions of the watch?

I literally saw this last night too funnily enough. Would love to know if anyone has one and can share what it’s like

I love that insert. Where is that from?
Thanks! I picked this up from @Ah0rsey last year. According to the build thread, it’s CrownArtCustoms

The original sales thread is above - you will see, between that sale and the watch now, its had correct "pointed crown guards" added to it, as well as a high quality rivet bracelet and the insert has been aged and faded and now its a lovely colour. The lume has been re-aged and corrected to be consistent cross hands/dial/Date-wheel and it was also serviced and a number of parts replaced internally.
I've tried to make it as close to an SCOC type 3 Gilt dial/flat hands/small second hand/chapter ring ......from here as reference to genuine https://gmtmaster1675.com/scoc-type-3/.
Case milki completely reworked ( by both Johnny Depp and Solution6 )
Dial Vietnam gilt/glossy
Hands raffle time
DW champagne ( replaced with better version during service )
Plexi gen ( does have some wear to it as it was a gen plexiglass )
Movement 2824 gmt
Bracelet quality rivet

Perhaps the movement is a 2836? 2824-2 does not have a GMT function, please correct me if I am wrong.

Regarding the case, the milk case in quality price I think it is by far the best for a 1675, it needs modifications but the rehaut is much better than other viet cases.

The insert is very nice, CAC inserts are very expensive but IMHO they are without a doubt the best quality today.

P.S
I stand corrected,

I'm seeing that there are 2824 in GMT clock... I didn't know it, I always see 2836-2

Absolutely correct what you wrote, it cannot be a 2824 because it does not have the day disc in addition to the date, it cannot be converted to GMT function with the necessary modifications, wheels and hand, etc.., it will certainly be a 2836-2

Just installed a new CAC insert and put the oyster strap back on. Nice look for winter I think.
