It's this kind of underlined detail that makes me love this forum. And it can be debated indefinitelyI've been thinking about writing this for a while,
I imagine it has already been commented but I see differences between some cases
For example, the photos that @Zorro1869 put in my opinion the part of glass / edges under glass is spec gen
Instead I look at my 1675 and some others (viet) and I see that metallic circumference (I could not name it) that I point out in the photo, and in my opinion this bears no similarity to a gen. I attach photos to see if I explain myself and some top modder like @tripdog @pompompurin @kilowattore @drvintage shed light
Photo 1: 1675 gen with the glass and edges behind the glass without the metallic circumference
Photo 2: my 1675 with that circumference pointed out.
Why this “rehaut” is used is, in my opinion, meaningless.
I've had this OCD for months, maybe I should treat myself! I am second only to the architects of the alignment lines with the Submariner
With your post you made me doubt too. This evening I want to check if my Raffles case build also has this "problem"I've had this OCD for months, maybe I should treat myself! I am second only to the architects of the alignment lines with the Submariner
By the way, I see your 1675, at any angle do you see the metal rehaut I point out? Because even in some internet gen I seem to see it, instead in yours I don't detect it, I want to solve the mystery! Thanks
I'm not thanking you because I can see it now. I already had a problem with the insert...well, I like it anyway.I've had this OCD for months, maybe I should treat myself! I am second only to the architects of the alignment lines with the Submariner

I believe that example is a Maxi dial and Tropic crystal with little or no bevel/chamfer. Beautiful watch, but hard to compare with most of the others you are probably comparing it against. Dial crystal combo is pretty darn sexy though.I've had this OCD for months, maybe I should treat myself! I am second only to the architects of the alignment lines with the Submariner

No the case is milk v2.The plexi is a verlux t38. It's my french touch@EnryDJ36 my 1675 is all viet, for what it's worth, I have a project with a milk v2 (still only the case) and with sternkreuz crystal I see less of the famous rehaut, the crystal is higher.
@aphmars13
Your 1675 is viet? Crystal? In the pictures you post I don't see that rehaut, maybe diagonally you can see it...
In some pictures of 1675 gen from internet I can see that rehaut, maybe it is a feature of the watch... since I discovered that detail the watch no longer look the same.
I'll end up buying the Casio in honor of @Oascom , life is easier that way.
Seeing your watch has encouraged me to do the project, dial source? Your watch is amazingNo the case is milk v2.The plexi is a verlux t38. It's my french touch
It was @manodeoro who created the dial, and he also tuned the hands. Thanks a lotSeeing your watch has encouraged me to do the project, dial source? Your watch is amazing
