.... ok, both genuine and replica are very bright initially and fade over the night so by morning there's only a faint glow. The genuine typically is a bit brighter than the replica, but same principle. Here's a comparison picture of my genuine vs replica Tudor pelagos for your edification.

Some facts: When you buy a fake watch you're buying "the look", not the robustness of a solid Swiss build, but maybe you'll get lucky as some are very solid and water resistant. But don't assume anything. The factories that make these watches are more about cosmetics than function and the fakes often look far better than they actually are. Mechanically some are very good, but if you want to buy a watch you can jump directly into the ocean with, a replica probably isn't your best choice. Keeping your expectations in check is important if you're going to play the replica game, or you may never be happy. Learn to enjoy them for what they are and not become to disappointed in what they are not.

Hi everybody.

I need help pleaaase :))

I bought a gmt batman CLEAN at ctime . I asked him for the top with deep crystal and he sold me the watch without telling me that to go in the water it had to be waterproof.

So I received my watch and I can't go in the water with it I'm very very bothered knowing that I live by the sea that I have a swimming pool ...

it's not proffesional !!! .

what should i do now?

Thank u
My husband and I owned 4 gen Rolexes and a swimming pool. Never did we go into the water with them on. I certainly wouldn't put a rep into saltwater. Just my opinion, but if being able to swim with your rep on is that important, maybe the rep game isn't for you. Most of the guys here do pretty good due diligence before purchasing, and they know that you must ask for waterproofing, and the extent of it.

Ans this is normal ? I think is too high ?
Did you not notice this in your QC pics? Again you are buying a replica watch. It's not going to be perfect, not even close in some aspects. Your expectations seem a bit high.

I am amazed how nice everyone here on the forum is in regard of OPs questions and assumptions.

If I remember correctly you said you put in a deep crystal - thats why it is so high. The Clean crystals have better fit. I have a pepsi with a deep and a Batman and Rootbeer from the newest batch with stock xtal. I would reccomend against switching to deep since the new clean crystals seem to be quite good (and have much better fit). If you want an upgrade then you should go for a gen crystal.

The lume on these replicas is quite good. Maybe not rolex level but better than even some gen watches so I dont understand your problem here.
It really seems you think for spending 1/30 of the gen cost you actually want the gen specs. In which world does that make sense to you?

If you want a watch to go swimming I recommend a G-Shock or something like that. Water with salt or chlorine will damage any watch over time and I also would not go swimming with my gen watches - at least not often and would recommend cleaning them after. To me this is jewelery and not a tool.

can't help thinking that reading through this forum before buying your first rep would've given you agreat head start and an idea what to expect from replica watches

normal for clean crystal. The extra height from what i've read is due to the crystal and gasket. Apparently a gen crystal and gasket will fix this if you want as close to gen as possible.

What do you think about cf clone movement of the gmt? It’s supposed to be fairly one to one. Minus probably the hair spring. But it in theory might be nearly as good. In terms of long lasting?

The DD3285 is the best clone movement for the GMT. They are not “nearly as good” as a genuine movement by any means and the longevity is yet to be determined. Enjoy it for what it is and hopefully you‘ll have it for a long time.
