Still no response from Toro... can anyone like, link him to this thread or something? Last I heard from him, he told me to contact them, which i did.

Yes I see your point but at this stage would you really want them to prove it, knowing all the while that it was counterfeit. I think at this point as far as the P.O. is concerned it would be best to just cut ones losses and figure something out with the dealer.

Not really no, probably wouldn't of called them either in fear of the inevitable truth behind their letter, although after a stressful day at the office I wouldn't put it past me!

@Keivoc123 - I hope you get this sorted, I'm also intrigued to know for future reference if you'll get your money back or another watch sent out to you for your inconvenience. Let's hope he's in a good mood.

Keivoc123,

Were you ever able to speak with Marian or did you only leave her a voicemail? I'm dealing with the exact same issue out of Houston and have not been able to get in touch with any of these people. Very frustrating since this is my first time ordering a replica!!

Its been 3 days and no contact has been made from toro. I've emailed, sent a message through the website and pm'd him on here... getting kinda impatient here.

He will get back to you. Someone last night said they haven't heard back from him from an order they made on Saturday. I'm sure he's out, or something, but he will get back to you. He's a trusted dealer here and always does get back to people. Just be patient.

Toro also got back to me today. He's been my go to dealer from day one and I never had an issue with him. I think he's just been extra busy these last few days.

If you can contact them...tell them they can't open the package and see what happens...we now know what they'll do if you give them permission from keivoc123.

Try the other way...it could be a learning experience for everybody...Good luck!

I asked what would happen if they didnt open it and they told me that it would just sit there for 30 days, then be destroyed within their regulations.

WoW those Houston guys are getting tough at the P.O....You guys should consider moving to California.

Hmmm on second thought no, you are better off in Texas.

....and that's why I would always buy a new watch from a dealer rather than M2M, especially if there was Customs involved in the shipping.

Wow!
This is the first issue I have heard of here in the states in awhile! Hope it all works out!

And I would not give them permission to open nothing up!

Sent from my Rolex thinking brain!

When they asked you if they could open it, well I would have said no and to return it to sender as it is too late and it was supposed to be a gift. They cant say no, we have to open it. And you could counter by saying you will get a refund if you return it. In case they insist, you could ask for a "destruction receipt" to get your refund. Anything confiscated or destroyed requires a receipt why action was taken on the shipment. All this I would have said in a nice way like you knew what you were saying. ................ Anyway, I would have never called for inquiry and would have ignored the letter. That way, they would never know who the final recipient and owner would have been. Your "verbal permission" allowing them to open it, was all they wanted to prove ownership. Your "yes" clenched it. If it was your neighbors or friends order, you would never allow them to open something that is not yours, right ? Well I guess Fakey Pete at the Post Office is now a proud Panerista !! Visit them one day and check out their watches, they could be forming a rep club of their own inside !! Sorry you had to have a stroke of bad luck. ......................... Now to see how your TD handles this.................................

What happens if the package is seized with no letters or no call? Can we sue them for opening up package without permission?

maybe better if we get the watches shipped fed ex , DHL or EMS vs. parcel post - just an idea

What's the harm if you call and say you purchased used watches off of a collectors forum? How are the going to know 100% that the items are not legit and you knew them to be replicas?

if I go purchase a used gen PAM000 from a Chinese collector and pay $$$$ would they still confiscate it?
