I explained all this to dvne The post office scanned the parcel in. Royal mail said they never received it from the post office so it's not down to them to cover the loss it's down to the post office. The post office say tough luck. It's as simple as that. Besides how do I know that dvne didn't receive it and is just taking advantage of screwed up tracking?

What no one has seemed to pick up on is that I actually sent the package. How else could I have got a tracking number? How could I be scamming someone I sent the item to????

So you have a receipt from the post office. On that receipt below the Barcode (tracking number) is the DESTINATION ADDRESS? You should be able to share that by PM with a sales mod.

I had a member send me a tracking number on a trade deal that was sent to my town and state but with a fake address cause he "wasn't sure he was gonna get his watch" all I'm saying is a member paid you for a watch that tracking is saying he didn't get that's the only fact we have in all this. He shouldn't be out the money. YOU put insurance on the package DVNE should be refunded his money and it's your responsibility to get the claim pushed through to get your money back. This isn't DVNE's fault and he's the only one that lost out.

The watch alone weighs more than 124 grams on your receipt. The total value is for 50 pounds? This does not help you at all!

That is my only mistake, I under valued for cheaper postage. And I don't get what you mean. The watch packaged weighed exactly what is shown on the receipt

So refund DVNE what he paid less £50 cause that's all your gonna get back anyways. Even if you did get the claim put through.

124 grams seems light for the watch, let alone the box plus packaging materials.

-It places the watch in the winder. It does what its told.

Agreed, I posted a 36mm datejust with hollow link bracelet last week, which I accept there is going to be a small difference due to case sizes, but even so packed it was 0.307kg.

You know, no matter what I say or do prove or don't prove you guys ain't going to be happy. I have provided the receipt with the tracking number and recipients address. The tracking number when tracked shows "Status: We have your itemItem LB211760294GB was posted at 37 Church Lane LS28 7LB on 15/05/15 and is being progressed through our network for delivery." Yet you are still trying to say I am trying to scam!!!! Yes I under valued for customs reasons and cheaper postage. So either the package got lost or it arrived at it's destination.

Besides in the listing I stated all risks on buyer which I see many people do!!!!

Since you have come on here I have not once said anything derogatory towards you. I haven't called you a scammer I'm just trying to help a fellow member. if you sold a gen watch and didn't insure it that's not risk on buyer that's you not taking proper care of shipping a watch. When someone spends that much money AND its legal to sell the watch it should be insured to its value. You even admitted yourself that you under insured the watch. What would you do if they accepted the claim and refunded you the £50? Would you tell DVNE sorry here's £50?

Look, just like DVNE dosen't know me, I don't know him. Every man and his dog knows that mail tracking is poor at best. I have always had a niggling doubt that the watch never arrived just like the majority here assume I scammed him. What about the transactions I did after DVNE's for much higher amounts? ask them if they were scammed or if they received what they paid for. There was a transaction for double what DVNE paid with a member here which was problematic and I refunded his £450 in full. I just have a funny feeling about this one. If Byron can prove to me he didn't receive the watch i will refund in full.

That may be well and good but your obligation does not end there, you have collected funds from another member who never received the item. Your obligation now is to help resolve it to the satisfaction of both parties. You owe it to your buyer and fellow forum member to not leave him high and dry. All risks are never on the buyer and this thread shows exactly why.

The thing that gets me is no response until your information was posted. As soon as Trailboss contacted you, you should have responded. So lets hear about the horse that kicked you in the stomach. Send Trailboss some evidence that you had a medical emergency. Does your wife or a friend work at the post office. What about your other user names and scamming people before, Is that true?

Gentlemen of the forum I think we have wasted enough time with this guy and should move on. Do whatever we can to make sure he doesn't pull this nonsense on other forums post his info on every forum you belong to, eventually someone will meet him in person, though he wont know it.
