I don't have that movement on hand but it will mostly likely be 52.Hi man do you have the possibility to measure also the real lift angle of the new Shanghai vr3285?

Yes and yes.I think I am in the wrong place but have few questions about vr3235 and vs3235. I want to build a dj36 (vs movement, vs dial and vs hands, clean case, clean bracelet and deep crystal+ gen bezel).
Is the movement swap (vs movemnt to clean case) possible without further modifications? Do I need to change/mod the crown and stem?
Thank you! It looks like an easy job. Let’s see irl.Yes and yes.
The vs movement will fit in a clean case. You will need to swap the crown & stem since the vs movement is a different stem than the VR movement.
I believe most clone movements are just fine considering the cost, but I would not assume they are as silent as a genuine Swiss movement.but both movements are as silent to the ear as the gen ?
The only movements which are noticeably loud (to me) are the Asian tourbillon movements. I did an analysis a while ago and found them to be about 3db (as in x2) louder than movements like the vs3235 or dd4130.I believe most clone movements are just fine considering the cost, but I would not assume they are as silent as a genuine Swiss movement.

Updated Royal Oak Tourbillon by R8 Factory are out
Does anyone have experience of the power reserve typically on these?forum.replica-watch.info
Is the VS3235 the same in all watch variants? For instance, is the same movement that’s in the dj41 the same that’s in the sub40 the same that’s in the Yachtmaster 42? I recently purchased the ym42 with a VS3235 but I’m hard pressed to find any gen parts out of Yachtmaster. I have come across gen date wheels, balances, etc out of the other mentioned models, are they all a 1:1 swap? Thanks!
There are two versions of the vs3235: one with a large date disc which is used in the DJ41 and YM42; and a small date disc version which is found in the 41mm sub.Is the VS3235 the same in all watch variants? Can anyone confirm that the VS3235 did an silent update?
I just got a Submariner 41 in from Steve and there is absolutely no (over)winding issue anymore which was usually in those movements.
Maybe you know anything about that @KJ2020 ?
That would make this movement my new favorite 3235 clone movement![]()
What overwinding issue are you speaking of? Modern watch mainsprings slip in the barrel when maximum tension is reached so there is no overwinding.
I read somewhere that the barrel is sealed on the vs3235 and can’t be serviced. Are the mainsprings thinner longer or stronger in some way? Just trying to figure out how they were able to boost the power reserve to 72 hrs in the reps. I read they boosted the Gen 3235 about 15% through less mass and inertia by skeletonizing the escape wheel. However that still doesn’t account for all the additional boost they achieved in the Gen 3235. These are really incredible movements but I wonder if trade off were made or actual improvements.
