VSF will release 4 Crpo with their 8500 super clone movement

OMF is not even close with gigantic size bezel numbers, F*cked up pearl and wrong color on seamaster. The only think better on the OMF is the matte grey bezel.

The VSF is way better in everything. I bought the OMF here M2M beginning of last year and it broke down recently, so I got this great VSF. The lume on the OMF does practically not exist while the VSF shines like a torch. The 120 bezel clicks on the VSF as well as fast hour-hand change pop out. Amazing.

Today arrived my VSF CRPO 42mm.
Ordered 45.5, but due to seller’s mistake arrived 42mm. Looks even better than expected for this size!

And my watchmaker is impressed by the overall finish and quality! The only question from him - is the whole movement copied or it’s just the “upper” visible part (plate) made to be look like gen 8500?

And question from myself to those who have this model - is the besel “playing”/clicking on the level of 20 to 40 marks when pressed.

Basically none of reps are suitable for swimming. It depends on model and if your watchmaker can do this.

Thanks for the powerful insight into the REP world. Much appreciated, very knowledgeable. As this is not a Speedmaster, I would imagine someone has done a wet test with this new VSF600. You apparently have not.

It’s supposed to be funny regarding the size if the watch. I don’t have calipers to measure exact size of the case only ruler. So it’s hard to catch these 3mm.
But the watch itself feels like 42mm, especially compared to AP diver.
But it’s easier to measure the lugs width which is 22mm.

So is it correct that with 22mm between lugs are only 45mm versions?

Yes. If it has 22mm lugs, then it’s the 45mm version. The 42mm has 20mm lugs.

Check the position of the date window. If its more inside the dial, then its the 45mm

How about rep rubber strap quality such as color, comfortable?
I call OB in my country they told me that gen orange rubber strap is cost around 260$ (convert from my country currency)

Bezel or rubber strap?

Bezel color looks great. It's an aluminium bezel and prone to fading on the gen so even if you meet a gen owner, the shade of orange isn't going to be an exact match IMO.

The orange on the rubber strap however looks brighter than the gen. Gen orange strap looks more subdued in person. This could be the lighting but I've opted to skip the VSF rubber strap.
