Overall a well made watch, but it looks a bit bland to me, so not sure if it's a keeper.

I love the watch, no doubt about it, but I have to admit, looks wise, there are times I look at it myself and think the same and I am glad I didn't spend 10x the amount on a real one.

I think the Omega Seamaster 300 range are much better looking and would love to get one of those that was of the same quality as the VSF.

It’s designed as a time zone changing feature, at the expense of a slightly more convenient date setting

I'd much prefer the date quickset, but can't have it all, I guess Considering that these movements are all the same in different new VSF releases, I think I'm done with Omega for a while. I agree, the Seamaster 300 range looks more attractive, I think they'll release it sooner or later. Rep game = waiting game

I got my QC pictures today and the watch is fine. I only have one question about an engraving on the back. I didn't see any engravings on the pictures here in this thread. Is that normal at this point?

I believe this engraving will be the same as what's on the certificate that comes with it.

Au750 means 18 carat gold, so it's definitely an odd thing to find engraved on a bit of stainless steel ??? I'd suggest they've messed it up, and it's meant to be engraved on a different watch. I'd be asking for another watch.

obrienk I think you're right - they messed it up. I didn't thought about AU750 means gold, but now I see clear. I rejected the watch and wait for a new one. It's a pity, because the front side was great. [/B]

Been waiting for the new batch to come out for almost 2 months. I was happy to see I've got a new mail with the QC and wow gold stamps on the back?!
First, I thought the TD mixed up something but everything else about the watch is typical VSF. Came here to see if there is any else thinks it's weird. Looks like yes.

somebody should really tell VSF that gold hallmarks aren't applicable to a stainless steel case. I'm not even sure that the gen has the anti-counterfeit globe on the lug, does it?
