I requested an exchange for another watch and they replied that they need to "ask the factory"..
Reality is, dealers just grab whatever they get their hands on. No matter what you tell them to look out for.I had watches with misaligned pearls before and I DID notice it every single time I checked the time. I refuse to accept a watch with flaws, because I know there are good ones out there. They just have to put a little bit of effort in finding one. The money I transfered had no flaws. I checked. Twice.
Mine looks very similar to yours under a macro lens. Personally, it's almost impossible to spot on the wrist even looking directly at it.
Mine exactly the same - it is bothering me. How much is a gen insert and can it be swapped in?
I know, this is why I wanted to try another TD. And here I go again..
Just searched about the gens and found this

Sorry Omega lovers here but this does not happen with the Rollies ; )
Is it worse than this?
This was the one I rejected but to be honest the second one wasn’t great.
I know it’s small but it’s literally the one thing that bugs me.

Here is my pearl on the 42 mm VSF which I think is very good.
Probably the factory worker responsible for insert drilling was cross-eyed because the QC seem to differ a lot.
It is kinda crooked, isn't it?
I've noticed in recent batches that the 1 in the 12 is taller than the 2.
