SF didn't replicate the movement. To be more precise, JF was the first to use the P9000 clone function movement Sep 2015 with their versions of the PAM616 and the PAM569. SF did release a PAM328 and a PAM 382 in middle of last year using the same movement. Technically, neither JF nor SF owns the movement. It was initially a project by the Noob factory to create a P9000 clone but abandoned it. Fortunately the movement factory perservered and finished the movement however had a hard time afterwards selling the new movement to the watch factories who were content to use the existing A7750 and ST-2555 decorative plated movements in their P9000 reps. Then JF came along and used it. The rest is history.
It may not be perfect (I have not read enough on the inconsistency issues on the function itself but the movement did introduce a new issue in the subdial placement) but it was a step towards copying the P9000 at least in function (visually it's not accurate as the balance wheel is @9).
By the same token, we're not completely sure if VSF indeed made the P9000 or Rattrapante movements or a movement factory produced them but VSF has exclusivity. Time will tell. Now if someone were to combine the P9000 visually correct movement with the P9000 function clone and produce something that is both accurate and reliable, we would have a revolution in our hands.
