I had high hopes for using the VSF Hulk as a base for a franken, with gen and ZZF parts (Depending on how good the VSF hulk parts will be) But, of course the had to mess up a very obvious detail... that first R in the rehault... Once you see that, well for me, it’s impossible to unsee. I really hope the fix that on the Hulk version

andrew is aware, I’ve brought it to his attention as well as the clasp issue. But, truly this is a beast of a watch. I don’t care too much about the rehaut since that’s not what our eyes go to when we look at the time. I’m sure V2 will iron this all out, but it is such a stellar piece. I’ve had Noobs V3-V10, BP, ZZF etc. This is still one of the best OTB.

The one thing that stands out to me on these models that use a mould for the insert is that the numbers are far too close to the inner edge they should be centred

Great photos! Thanks for taking the time to share them. I like to view comparison photos like this side-by-side so I re-arranged your photos. I hope you don't mind.

Spoons,
This is way better than how I had them arranged. Thanks for making it so.
Also, it’s important to note that the noob has a gen xtal and CF insert, just for those that may miss that detail above.

not sure how accurate this photo analysis is due to angles or size of objects but look at the edge of the cyclops as circled by red: if there are 3 parts (side of crystal, top of crystal, and edge) then it would seem gen has a thicker and more sharply defined edge.
cyclops shape as described by another user mags a lot at an angle so it might be a different dome shape than gen.

Anyway, super nitpicking but I'll measure the vsf crystal when I get it. Hope fully i get it but I just got the "contact DHL" on my tracking update... pray for me guys

Damn...where are you? I had a "held at customs" in Cincinnati for a day and I couldn't sleep that night! Next day it was delivered, all good.

I'm on the west coast. My TD and I have had many successful deliveries and he said this time around to contact DHL because they probably want a little money which I'm planning on doing tomorrow. When customs takes the package I believe they put Exception Occurred.
