Update:

"Hi ,

That’s what we’ve heard . VSF didn’t confirm it yet. So i think it might take long since VSF themselves aren’t very responsive .
If you have another option , then it’s better to change watch . Otherwise we can refund you.

Best Regards ,
Chazingtime"

when I see these photos I again feel the doubt between aqua terra and seamaster 300. It seems to me very well done. Does the dial have the wrong finish? What are the defects of the watch and the differences compared to the gen? How reliable is the movement better or worse than that of Aqua Terra? P.S. what do you mean by problem "Clasp divers extension"? is there a risk that the clasp will open? Does Puretime send a replacement?

I found this comparison. I don't understand anything about Chinese. I can't distinguish the rep from the gen. Which is?
Gen left. VSF right

Does the bezel on this VSF reissue really have a "Polished ceramic bezel with Liquidmetal markers"?

If so, it's a major improvement!

Makes sense, I read Puretime's bezel description which mentions Liquidmetal and got all excited! ☹️
It would be an incredible feat if the replica factories can acquire Liquidmetal to produce the bezel markings. I highly doubt that would happen. Even if they have Liquidmetal, the entire process from engraving the ceramic bezel to combining the liquidmetal with the engraved ceramic bezel is pretty tedious. Read how it is done here.. https://www.ablogtowatch.com/looking-at-liquid-metal-watches-with-omega/

Which is mainly why I bought the gen. I really appreciate the technology of how they made the ceramic liquidmetal bezel. The end result is simply beautiful. The way the ceramic shines and the way the liquidmetal just pops in the light. Pictures don't do it any justice..

Well done @imranbecks, that is probably what I should do, too. I love this rep, but in daylight the bezel often appears black, so you can't see the numerals at all.

Of course they used to say Panerai's Carbotech couldn't be replicated, and now it's commonplace in replica submersibles. I guess the more Omega models use liquidmetal, the greater chance a rep factory can justify the cost. That said, I think Omega own the only liquidmetal production facility, it's entirely propriotal!

While Apple has had the rights to LiquidMetal since 2010, it has yet to include the material in anything beyond the SIM card ejector pin.

Speaking of the 8400, here is my gen....

Ahh I wondered if there was a noticable difference on the clone movement and I can see the balance bridge is different. With the single prong, the rep has the double (much like Rolex clones movements).
